V.A.L. Project
The V.A.L. (Video Art Lamp) is an art work that flows along with Andy Worhol portraits and Roy Lichtenstein pixels. Each lamps are exclusive, one of a kind pieces with one moving image.
For the artist, being a photographer and admiring high resolution photographs, it was a little funny and ironic to create something with such low resolution pixels. Computerized controlled addressable RGB LED and sophisticated programming is required to produce it.
The V.A.L. has a way of making you feel like you are looking at an ancient photograph, yet a magically moving one that is sending a secret message from space.
