For this in-town bungalow project, our design inspiration came from the client's vintage embroidered fabric from South America. I called this fabric "beasts of the southern wild" and had it stretched on canvas as statement artwork over the fireplace. We then layered in geometric patterns and botanical themes in metallic gold finishes. The rug is a rich, creamy blend of sunset colors that really drove the warm desert palette of tangerine, gold and cream. The cream upholstered sofa in high-performance, liquid-repellent crypton allows for entertaining (i.e. wine drinking!) without concern for staining.
