Very cool project that we were lucky enough to work on, on Valleyview Drive a few years back. The clients were looking for a florid naturscape to interact with. We took what was an unnusually wide sideyard of minimal use and introduced an expansive 20 metre stream with multiple spillways. A curved hardwood deck perches over the upper stream and there is a second large hardwood deck with custom benches and gas firepit in back. The centerpiece if a custom water sculpture in front, designed by artist Elena Colombo and imported from the US. It is plumbed into the house and has a full in-house water filtration system installed to maintain water quality all season long. Our clients very much love the mix of elements on this property. Wood, Steel, Water and Rock come together make this yard what it is.
