This project took course in phases over 3 years. During the first phase we reworked the floorplan to convert one really small bedroom to an office/guestroom with a murphy bed which allowed me to expand the 2nd bedroom into a larger room with an entire closet wall of storage. The 2nd phase was to convert the loft into a functional space to include storage, a place to hang out, and then another home office. During this phase COVID hit, and now the homeowner needed a work from home office vs a work from home on occasion office. The 3rd phase was the most transforming. We opened up the kitchen to the living room, which allowed for much more functional storage, a large island, and a true open concept.
