This room lacked elegance and was too full of seating. We kept the sectional, but took out everything that was not a natural material. We replaced the poly rug with a beautiful hand knotted wool rug, replaced the sofa with vintage chairs and ottomans and added a cool vintage chest. We painted the back of the bookshelves in a grounding color and took down the pressed board wall shelves. We added art and a marble coffee table. The bookshelves are busy but my client’s life is full of memories and beautiful moments.
