The client wanted the drywall to look like stone and have a stone texture, and carry over the color scheme from the marble in the master bath. The master bedroom colors were the same colorants, with less glaze added. The base is Venetian plaster that was troweled on and removed and manipulated with rags to create a polished stone-like finish. The Venetian plaster was then color washed with three different colorant/glaze mixtures. The entire project was covered with an acrylic polyurethane as a topcoat to provide more depth.
