When this financial advisor mentioned how much she avoided the downstairs of her home because it felt cold and unwelcoming, we couldn’t wait to design the space for her. We displayed pieces of her favorite artwork by late Durham, NC artist, Ernie Barnes, highlighted her music educator husband’s favorite instruments, and warmed up the space with brass accents and Sherwin Williams' Urbane Bronze. The result is a soulful, artful living + dining area that reinvigorates instead of drains, and serves as a celebration of the art and music the clients love.
