Warm Contemporary Home

This 1980's home is in a great location but needed an upgrade. The client wanted their home to be their retreat. They love to entertain with family and friends and taking advantage of the great So Cal weather. The clients wanted their spaces functional and be warm and inviting.

The kitchen with this adjoining seating area brings in the beautiful color of gray, black, with a splash of green. A contemporary area rug and the warm wood floors balances the space without feeling cold.

New french doors which match the existing doors in the new sitting area off the kitchen adds continuity and light. Now they are able to bring the inside out expanding their entertainment area. They had their existing chairs covered in a textured fabric. Adding a runner adds warms to the room.

The client loved the existing tile in the entry. The rest of the adjoining rooms also have a combination of warms woods with the contrast of black and white and earth tones.

This new updated bathroom is both contemporary and is warm and inviting. The continuity of colors adds for a cohesive look.

The original stairway was covered with carpet, and the area felt cramped and steep. The sleek lines of the new banister, and the new wood steps now invites guests to safely go to the second floor.

This family room space is at the other end of the house. It has leather couches and chairs, warm toned artwork, and comfortable area rugs warm honey toned walls. This is the perfect area for viewing movies and sports.
