Warm Transitional Bathroom

In order to update but keep the expense of a complete remodel, we kept the existing honey oak vanity. we had it refinished to a rich dark finish, put a prefabbed inexpensive bright white countertop, used a backsplash that was discounted because of limited stock, used a simple 12 x 12 travertine. We removed the tub. shower combo, added a easy to use, roomy shower. We added the beautiful glass tile in a vertical pattern to add style and personality. Because the original cabinet were only at 32" high the Glass Vessel sink worked perfectly. The subtle but interesting combination of texture: the rough backsplash, shiny countertop, glass vessel sink, matte travertine and glass accent tiles combine to make an interesting combination of contrasting materials , with a soothing timeless color scheme.
