Hazley Builders | Architects completed a first-floor renovation and rear addition in the Borough of West Chester, Pennsylvania, encompassing a full kitchen remodel, new mudroom, powder room, and deck. The project was delivered as a single design-build scope in Chester County.

The kitchen was fully reconfigured with custom Arctic White Shaker cabinetry, crown molding, and brushed brass hardware. Perimeter countertops are engineered quartz with an eased edge; the black Shaker island features a mitered quartz edge, with no sealing required. Appliances include a professional gas range with a new hood, built-in wall oven, microwave drawer, and paneled refrigerator. A three-panel black Andersen French door opens to the new rear deck.

The mudroom addition matches the kitchen's cabinetry and hardware for a cohesive first-floor look, with a built-in bench, full-height storage, coat rail, and a full-lite black pocket door connecting to the kitchen. The rear deck features composite decking, cable railing, and James Hardie fiber cement shake siding on the addition exterior.

White oak hardwood flooring, matched millwork, and Andersen windows and doors run throughout the entire project.
