West Highlands Kitchen/Laundry

The previous owners had updated the bathroom but had not touched the kitchen or laundry room. The current owners wanted to open up the kitchen to the rest of the house. With a large extended family and many close friends who drop-in for visits, this family wanted to be in the kitchen and still be able to talk with their guests without having them on their heels. By opening walls and doorways we were able to create a more open feeling without changing the charm of the house.
