DTLA Design revived this condo on a minimal budget. Opening up the space with a counter high island and removal of the vertical pantry created better flow between the living, kitchen and dining areas. Stainless steel hood as focal point, silver solar shades, white quartz counter top, black Ikea cabinets and polished concrete floors complete the "Loft Look". Magnetic knife holder in lieu of a more expensive backsplash give the kitchen a "cook's" appeal. Black Bamboo conceals the exterior retaining wall, softens the space and brings the outdoors in. Custom sofa made in LA with blue undertones, client's yellow artwork and accents of red add color to the minimalistic space in a Mondrian fashion.
