Core Remodel was retained by the owner and renowned interior designer Jennifer Swean. The original master bathroom was a 1990's remodel with a built-in jacuzzi tub and non-functional space with 9' ceilings. After design and material selection was completed, we removed the ceiling, opened the space to create a larger open shower with horizontal niche and fixed glass panel window. Additionally, a new space was created for a free-standing Kohler bathtub. Additionally, a gray marble tile was cut down from 12x24 pieces to 6x24 and installed 42" from ground in a stacked horizontal step pattern. The toiler was relocated by installing a wall-mounted toilet with a custom floating vanity with integrated LED lighting. To free up additional space, the pre-hung door was replaced with a custom built barn door on a heavy duty industrial track. Robern Medicine cabinets with LED lighting and new ceiling lighting created a more open and spacious feeling. To give the space a more industrial and still finished look, the exposed concrete ceiling was stained to match the color scheme and the exposed duct work was painted using a Benjamin Moore matte finish.
