We were asked to transform the landscaping of this home to accomodate a full and active family. With three kids and a constant flow of guests, they wanted a yard that could entertain everyone but also looked stunning once the guests were gone.

Like most homes, the pool became the centerpiece of the yard. Lined with stone tile and an infinity edge overlooking the creek down the hill, we designed this pool to be a beautiful statement that accented the home and made the yard seem even larger than it already was. Next to the pool we placed a brick fireplace and seating area that provided a place to sit and relax outside of any splash zones. Between the home and the pool we added a large covered patio. One half was dedicated to an outdoor kitchen and BBQ with enough capabilities to prepare meals for a large party and easy to use for just a quiet night without kids. The other half of the patio is dedicated to a beautiful wooden table under warm chandeliers.

With enough amenities to keep everyone happy, we then focused on placing a variety of flowering plants and small palms throughout the yard, giving it a mediterranean feel. As you walk towards the front door you pass curving planters filled with flowers of all colors. A fountain sits in the center of the path, drawing your eye towards the beautiful wooden front door. The building’s soft white exterior and Spanish tiles are complimented by our choice of plants and stone, coming together to form a cohesive and beautiful home.
