Whimsical Southwest Style Kitchen
This kitchen was designed for a single mom and her two children. She wanted to design around art pieces she picked up during her trips to New Mexico, and she wanted her kids to have fun in the space, So fun and whimsical became her theme.
This space is filled with earth friendly products from the bamboo cabinets, to recycled glass countertops and hardware, to LED lighting. And Marmoleum linoleum in "Butter" was chosen as a durable yet affordable surface for the floors.
The original small kitchen and dining areas were transformed by an addition, opening of walls, and widening a doorway into a large, airy, bright, and cheery space.
