This home was a builder's spec house when the new owner bought it. Every room was painted tan and had very, very dark cabinetry. We painted the cabinets a lovely soft yellow to increase the country feeling; it is a house on a horse farm. The client has traditional taste, yet we added some more modern details in lamps and accessories to keep it fresh.
