This full interior and exterior renovation project started with one main studio cabin and two accessory structures scattered on site. Once relocated, the accessory structures were stitched together with the main cabin to create a string of spaces interconnected with glass hallways. By introducing contemporary elements like corten steel skirting and large picture windows, we brought a modern edge to what once was a dated cabin.

Each structure is uniquely oriented towards views over the expansive Methow Valley. Situated between rolling hills and grassy meadows, the exterior design aims to blend into its environment using materials that complement the landscape in color and texture. Local cedar and fire-protective corten steel cladding weather naturally along with the maturing foliage.
