This 1970s home had low 8' ceilings throughout. The home owner contacted us to help them come up with a design concept for their whole house home remodel. The finished product included raising the ceilings, replacing door & window trim, repainting the house, and refinishing the existing hardwood flooring. We vaulted their ceiling in the living room, added ship lap and built faux beams, which really opened up the entire room. In the dining room, we coffered the ceiling, and installed faux beams with crown molding to create an elegant dining space. We updated the lighting in both the living room and dining room, to bring in a more contemporary look. We tied it all in with installing a craftsman type door trim, and 5" flat baseboards. We at Armor Contracting, are so happy the Home Owner chose us to help them bring out their taste, but didn't quite know how to go about it. These types of projects are what truly separates us from the others!
