This new home was inspired by the owner's love of Spanish Mission churches. The home has a grandeur which belies its modest 3500 square feet. The plan is expansive yet the rooms are designed as intimate spaces. Details abound, mostly inspired from the Spanish Revival homes of the 1920s and Mission churches. Every wall surface was hand plastered to a smooth finish then waxed, again by hand, creating an old-world authenticity.
