Yorkville Condo #4

Renovated condo in yorkville. Showing the living room with a 65" Panasonic Plasma. All equipment is located in the old entry closet which was converted to their centralized AV "rack".

SMK Construction living room. With Mark Doyle and the client, we designed this living room with a recessed 65" Plasma above the fireplace. The shelving was not deep enough for traditional AV gear so we located all the equipment in the old entry closet to the condo.

This older windows PC photo frame has been around for over 5 years. As part of the renovation, we customized the mount to be recessed in the drywall.

This shows the mount and depth of this older photo frame. When pushed back, it no longer sits out 3" from the wall as it did in the client's prior condo.

The old entry closet was redesigned for AV equipment. The critical part here was ventilation which is achieved by making the shelving with grill inserts but most importantly, we exhaust the heat at the top into the air return for the condo with ultra quiet fans.
