I created this large studio oil painting as a commission for a friend from high school in Arkansas. She and her family love to visit Yosemite National Park on vacations. My husband and I visited Yosemite on our honeymoon; and I also love the grandeur and awe inspiring beauty of the park. It was a joy to research and create this painting. In this view you see majestic El Capitan on the left, Half Dome near the center, Bridal Veil Falls towards the right, and some of the enormous pines in the foreground.
