Yes, photo exaggerates the length. There is also a swim shelf at other end. It's not a huge pool all said and done but scale works for us and within context.

I have to say.....this is by far the best use of space I've ever come across on any forum....every detail as your eye follows the space is like an art gallery ....can you tell me the size lot this home was placed on and front and side dimensions ? Also the wood wall as you walk to the kitchen on the right is that a powder room or garage access? Thanking you in advance.

Thank you so much. The lot size is 160'x145' and has streets on 3 sides. The wood wall in the kitchen conceals the pantry....or what I call "Kid zone"....their refrig, their snack place, their mess. The kitchen then can remain clutter free.

Thank you for your response. I think recessed screens are a good idea for some of the transitional months. We live in Gainesville, FL and our temps are fantastic at the moment, but a mosquito will always find a way in during the evenings if the doors are open. After a hard freeze, they'll disappear until spring. The don't call it the Swamp for nothing, but we're planning to build in St Pete and I hope proximity to the Gulf will improve the insect issue. Thanks again. Nice work.

The pool tile was something we got from our individual pool contractor. 1x1 mosaics. Yes, there is tile on top of the wall in between the steps.

It is poured in place concrete by a local contractor. The sea shells are added at the last minute and then finished smooth. They came back next day and pressure washed surface to expose shell aggregate.

Below the steps there is a diving wall between the spa and pool. Water just barely flows thru. To reduce the time it takes to heat the spa in the winter, we let the water level fall low so that no water "escapes" to the pool.
