Based on the shadows and sky, which indicate time of day and direction of the sun, I’d say this window facade faces west.

Hi, and thank you for your interest in our project.

When standing in the kitchen and looking out at the pool, you would be looking to the south (the front door faces east).

Hope this helps.

The floors in the kitchen are white oak. They are sealed with a clear "satin" finish.

The table is an antique from Mexico. It was made from the door of a salvaged ship. It's a unique table and not "mass-produced."

Hi @twhitley, I was just looking through houzz and found your question on these lights. I am not sure if you are still looking for these, but I searched for them because these vintage lights look remarkable in that setting.

Something I found was this light http://decorinteriorsus.com/go-home-loft-pendant-light-fixture-11096.html and it seems it may be close. The diameter of the shade is 17" and the height is 20". If that's not the light, maybe this will help point you in the right direction.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Alison Aves added this to Houzz Tour: Luxury With a Treehouse Feel
"The realtors, neighbors and friends that have come through the house have loved the great room with its connections to the decks and the pool — and in general the connections between the interior and the exterior spaces," Urrutia says. "There's a connection everywhere you look in the house." This photo was taken from the end of the deck that also includes a fire pit and the outdoor kitchen. More about walls that open wide
Samantha Schoech added this to Open Walls Widen Home Possibilities
I'm pretty sure my dream-house fantasy is just a rip-off of this house. You might ocassionally find a deer or squirrel in your living room, but the spaciousness and the openness make it worth the trouble.
Laura Gaskill added this to 10 Ways to Open a Kitchen to the Outdoors
9. Open an entire side of your house. This may not be in your budget or even architecturally possible for your house, but if you can swing it, why not go for it? Glass doors that fold away, opening as much (or as little) of your home to the outdoors as you wish could completely change the way you live at home.

What Houzzers are commenting on:

Glass wall concept. Definitely for Wellness area.
