Great project. 1. Did you use a plywood underlay underneath the 2cm counter tops? or are the counter tops sitting directly on the cabinets frames? 2. Are there any additional structural supports on the kitchen island overhang? How deep is the overhang? Thanks you.

Hi, Our clients hired us to design and implement our design. Arete Kitchens fabricated and installed the kitchen and Marble Falls Glass and Mirror supplied the glass backsplash, The General Contractor coordinated the installation. Projects take a great team of people to create a great kitchen.

Beautifully done: the glass backsplash is striking wo being too contemporary. Could you tell me a little more about it? How large are the sheets and are they frosted or colored? I assume it had to be safety glass? The reflective value is making it a little difficult for me to see the detail. Photographer did a good job.

Hello! I wonder if you meant your question for another image? The only window (not shown) in this image is where the sunlight is streaming into the kitchen. The backsplash above the sink is back painted glass with built in cabinets for additional storage. I hope this is helpful!

The backsplash is tempered glass.

Architects and builders will typically order and specify glass from a local glass supplier. In this case Marble Falls Glass and Mirror.

The backsplash is Silestone's White Zeus Extreme. On top of that, the glass cabinets are simply a back painted glass.
