With so many manufacturers designing similar fixtures it can be hard to tell. For something as personal as a shower, you're best off going to a really good plumbing supplier and seeing items for yourself. Also, if possible how the water flows out of the shower head.
We just switched out an attractive rain showerhead for a more forceful Speakman head. Speakman also puts their heads inside of other manufacturer's shower heads, so you can often get a Speakman head to match your other plumbing fixtures. Here's one example:
