No, it is not a Minwax stain. It is an oil finish. Again, since it was prefinished, I don't know all of the finish details.

The Cabinets and the Trim are the same color, Gettysburg Gray, from Benjamin Moore, with a Satin finish. The wood walls behind the range are painted French Canvas (also Benjamin Moore) in a flat finish.

@princessgrace: This is from memory since it has been several years since I built that house. The counters are 36" high. I know the shelves are 12" deep and I'm guessing the overall width of the unit is +/- 40".

I got them here in Atlanta at the Scotts Antique Market several years ago. I think that vendor may still sell them though. I have no idea of how to get them other than go to the show, which is the 2nd weekend of each month.

Pull out the cookbooks. You may not have a custom-built island with designated cookbook space, but that doesn't mean you can't display cookbooks. There could be room on an open shelf, on top of the refrigerator or even on the counter.

Just realized I’d love to have a spot planned in the kitchen for books. My cookbooks right now are tucked away at the end of the hall where they are doing no one any good.
