That is a Wolf Pro Wall hood, looks like it is 24 or 27 inches in depth and 48" in length. These hoods can be either re-circulating, in line, or remote venting.

That's a great question. It might depend on how expensive your granite is comparatively. It seems like it shouldn't be as expensive, but having not installed one, I'm not sure.

Hopefully, someone here can tell us both!
