A contemporary kitchen with Local Details. KNJ Construction did the renovation and added a full 12' to the back of the house with new roof, windows, floor and a playroom below. Kitchen Design, Cabinets, Concrete counters with recycled porcelain, bench and bamboo sliding door by LUKE WORKS. Custom Glass Bowl by Anthony Coradetti. And three wall mural by Michael Owen. Design consultation for colors, lighting, tile and floor by Sarah Reed.

These were sourced by the homeowner. As I recall they are small perfectly round glass tiles on sheets. They install similar to other glass tile. Teh dimaeter of each glass round was about 5/8" - 3/4"

The doors are custom made tilt ups using an aluminum extrusion from Hafele and Blum aventos tilt up hard ware. They work nicely.

Melonas and LUKE WORKS made the countertops with their custom concrete aggregate. The main counters are a blend colored with recycled porcelain and crushed mirror, giving them a light sparkle.
