Remodeling 70s bathroom - I am updating master bathroom, going from 2 sinks to one - length 60". We also have a shower & tub in bathroom & I don't like glass doors. Is your bathroom a small one off bedroom. Or is it the master bathroom? I also am removing door from linen closet for a more spacious look. (I know - must keep it tidy & attractive) Any suggestions? Also, are the floor tiles 1" hex?

And what colour did you paint the wood panels? I am going to do something very similar in my bathroom!

Thanks again :)

I am intending to retrofit our guest bathroom[vanity] which will only contain a sink with wooden under cabinet ,mirror and toilet. present dimensions are;L [2] meters/W: [1.5] meters . Since due to construction limitations,I can not extend the width ,I can only extend the length further by another meter. I am thinking to have two sinks, with wall mirror of same length as the sinks overall top, with one meter height of mirror[?],also I am thinking to have some kind of partition after the sink [slightly more that the sink width] to hide the toilet which would be on the other side. I am also considering to have a skylight in the end wall[would be left side of the toilet] at the very top height[on the wall not the ceiling].
Can you please advise:
1- What would be the best dimensions for the sink and its mirror?
2- What would be the best material for the partition[wall] and best dimensions?
3- What would be the best type and size/height of the skylight?

Thanks a lot.

Wall paneling - Hello there! This is a beautiful bathroom! Can you provide any information about the wall paneling? Is it t&g? Does it hold up well in a bathroom subject to moisture? Thanks! Rhea

16. Skylight. I prefer plenty of natural light in a bathroom, but sometimes windows are just not possible to add. So I agree with Fl!p Breskin’s suggestion of a skylight over the sink. This is an especially smart way to go if you are leery about installing windows due to privacy concerns.See more on adding a skylight
