Thanks, the picture showed a slot grip. I hadn't thought of that. I'll just put it 6 " from the edge, and it will solve problem. I understand locking it--out door has a screen latch.

Yes, the slot grip is nice since it's flush with the door. 6" from the edge should be just fine. Good luck with your project!

Thanks for your question. We don't recommend hanging things on the wall where the door would slide. Unless its recessed into the wall. We have done a TV on a wall but it was built-in and flush to the wall and the barn door slide over it.
