I'm interested in these pulls also. The 2 different sizes are a great idea. What sizes and model(s) did you use?

Hello. The countertops on the perimeter are 1 1/4" (not mitered). I would suggest if you are using 1 1/4" thick slabs then no mitering would look great however if you are using 3/4`` thick marble slabs then I would recommend mitering them all instead of laminating them. The lamination line can be quite visible on marble so we try and avoid that.

I would also love to know the grout color. Striking but not too obvious.

Annie Thornton You can also apply a grout colorant to new or old grout to change its color. It is basically a stain for grout and you can choose from a variety of colors.

You mentioned a grout colorant and I'm wondering your experience with it? I recently put in a new bath with white subway tile and the contractor used a taupe grout. I wanted a pure white look and am so unhappy with it. I'm exploring grout stain but don't know anyone who has used it. Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks so much for the kind words. They're from an unusual source - autohardware.com. They're stainless steel strap hinges. They have a few options. The paint color for the cabinets is a custom ivory with a glaze, it doesn't translate to any specific paint color, sorry.

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Paul Anater added this to 9 Ways Grout–Yes, Grout–Can Add to Your Design
White kitchens need some gentle color to keep them from appearing to be too sterile. The darker grout color used with this tile eases the transitions between the darker woodwork, appliances and light fixtures. This white kitchen looks more welcoming and that's partially as a result of the grout color used on the walls.
KitchenLab Interiors added this to Kitchen Details: The Right Edge for Your Countertop
Marine edge. This is profile is more often seen on stainless steel countertops. It’s a built-up thickness, but rather than mitered, the outside edge is raised. I’m assuming the term “marine edge” refers to how this detail keeps liquids from running off the countertop. Make sure your countertop pro is capable of doing this edge before you commit
Shawn Gauthier added this to 12 Ways to Have a Nicer Kitchen This Year
Consider glass-fronted cabinetry. If you’re thinking about replacing your cabinets, you may want to consider glass-fronted cabinetry. It will turn your dishware into a display, and help the space feel more open and airy.
KitchenLab Interiors added this to Top 6 Hardware Styles for Raised-Panel Kitchen Cabinets
These old-fashioned window sash–style pulls add vintage flair. Mixing sizes and profiles adds to the eclectic vibe in this kitchen.
Joni Hilton added this to Get a Grip on Kitchen Cabinets With the Right Knobs and Pulls
Window Sash PullsWhat they are: Pulls based on window sash fittings, designed to lift heavy windows in the early 1900s during the transitional period. Just look how smart black hardware looks against the white wood and subway tiles in this kitchen. These are window-sash-style pulls, the homey comfort food of cabinetry hardware. They take us back to an old-fashioned era when window fittings were smooth and simple, with softly rounded handles. These industrial-feeling pulls are a blend of colonial and Arts and Crafts, and come in a wide variety of finishes. While these black ones are a good choice with the black appliances and lighting, don’t feel your knobs must match all the finishes in your kitchen; it’s OK to mix things up. Just don’t mix the knobs and hinges on the same door; those definitely should be coordinated so one doesn’t detract from the other.Pros: Easy to grip, nostalgicCons: Works with only a handful of stylesThey’re good for you if: You need a firm grip to open drawers and doors.Styles they work with: Traditional, Arts and Crafts, colonial, country, vintage
