How do you suppose they hid all those TV wires in this stone front fireplace? I have all brick but it's a similar issue.

The brilliancy is left with your audio/visual expert, call a few companies in from your local region and ask them how they would achieve this issue.

So far, no good solutions for this from the local installers I have contacted. Anybody local to Boston/Providence have any ideas or help to offer?

No, this is from the store in Portland, OR and they had many more choices that what you see online. It was a geometric key pattern that was something like this:

Where can I getting hidden hinges? - My house look just like that. I am looking to put a hidden door in one of the spaces in the wood. The square strip of wood will be used to hide the opening when its close. I am looking for some type of hinge to make this happen. I was thinking about push in and out hinge that slide but can not find one. Any help would be awesome. Thank you

Cable box and video - Hi there, great clean lines. Where is your cable box and video stored - I don't see these components so you've hidden them nicely.

This home has a audio/vis system for the entire home that is in one room, all wiring is tucked neatly away behind walls and trim work.

There is an automated mechanical closer on this door that is set on a timer.

This home is a smart home and all audio components are in a closet in another part of the home.

Tv - How high did you place the television??

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Jonathan Baker added this to The Gentleman Cellar: Anti-Man Cave
No matter if your manly space is classic or new school, a television will likely be the focal point. Wall-mounting your flatscreen takes a little more time and money, but instantly opens up the room for a variety of design concepts.
Becky Harris added this to Press Pause: Styling the Television
This says "my wife may not let me eat wings in these chairs, but I can still watch the game in here."
Shawn Gauthier added this to Touchdown! Winning Seating for Your Football Party
You can’t go wrong with an ottoman. From an aesthetic standpoint, it will pull your room together, but from a football-watching standpoint, it will double as a footrest and a spot for extra seating if necessary.
Shawn Gauthier added this to Blended Doors for Standout Style
A quick glance at this space and you may think, “Oh, what beautiful paneling surrounding the fireplace ...”
Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR added this to Shhh ... It's a Secret (Door, Room, Staircase)
The best way to hide the entrance to a room is to keep people from suspecting it is there in the first place. This paneling on the whole wall on both sides of the fireplace looks like a normal wall treatment in an upscale home.
