A detail of the custom island cart and work table. The island carts are on wheels to allow for flexible use of space. The island tops are made from reclaimed wine barrels. The work table is also fabricated from reclaimed wood, the butcher block top being constructed from maple reclaimed from a factory once built by Thomas Edison.

The floor is actually a reclaimed, fumed oak with a waxed finish. The cabinets are painted in a Ralph Lauren color that's no longer available. The closest current Ralph Lauren color is RL1948 Washed Denim.
Thank you. The kitchen is lovely. Do you recall the manufacturer for the floor? I am renovating an 1850 carriage house. I think this floor would be perfect.
