Hello raworden, the overhang of that size will have to be supported at least by corbels. Talk to your local countertop professional about how much support you're required to have.

Love the counter top! I know this is a long shot, but my question is how well does this counter material in black hold up? Does it get "cloudy" if something is spilled on it? Is if high maintenance to retain the shine? I want to use it in my kitchen but am hesitating because I don't know how it will look after a few years of use....thank you
