Windover project is a coastal traditional home located in Corona del Mar, California. The design process involved significant transformations, including moving walls and opening up the downstairs space. We turned what was the dining room into a Butler's pantry and office and took the formal living room and made in the new formal dining space. This home was such a special project to work on and we're so happy our clients love it as much as we do!

This luxury kitchen by Compassion Construction showcases the perfect balance of timeless elegance and modern functionality. Featuring custom slim shaker cabinetry in a warm neutral finish, the space is designed with clean architectural lines, sophisticated gold hardware, and rich natural wood accents that bring warmth and depth to the overall design. The expansive waterfall island serves as the heart of the kitchen, complemented by plush upholstered seating, designer pendant lighting, and a marble-inspired backsplash that adds a refined, upscale feel. Thoughtful details such as layered lighting, custom storage solutions, and curated décor elements create a space that is both highly functional and beautifully inviting. The kitchen, breakfast room and family room are all open to one another. The kitchen has a large twelve foot island topped with Calacatta marble and features a roll-out kneading table, and room to seat the whole family. The sunlight breakfast room opens onto the patio which has a built-in barbeque, and both bar top seating and a built in bench for outdoor dining. The large family room features a cozy fireplace, TV media, and a large built-in bookcase. The adjoining craft room is separated by a set of pocket french doors; where the kids can be visible from the family room as they do their homework.

The stainless steel double oven and range hood compliment the white cabinetry and metal hardware. Warm tones in the stonewood granite backsplash and island countertop add interest and depth. These terrific clients turned a boring 80's kitchen into a modern, Asian-inspired chef's dream kitchen, with two tone cabinetry and professional grade appliances. An over-sized island provides comfortable seating for four. Custom Half-wall bookcases divide the kitchen from the family room without impeding sight lines into the inviting space. Before renovating, this bright and airy family kitchen was small, cramped and dark. The dining room was being used for spillover storage, and there was hardly room for two cooks in the kitchen. By knocking out the wall separating the two rooms, we created a large kitchen space with plenty of storage, space for cooking and baking, and a gathering table for kids and family friends. The dark navy blue cabinets set apart the area for baking, with a deep, bright counter for cooling racks, a tiled niche for the mixer, and pantries dedicated to baking supplies. The space next to the beverage center was used to create a beautiful eat-in dining area with an over-sized pendant and provided a stunning focal point visible from the front entry. The kitchen of a new Mediterranean/Transitional style home in Atlanta. Features include custom wood cabinetry (Sherwin Williams Elder White) to the ceiling with soft close feature, quartz countertops (Quartzite Calacatta), stone backsplash (3x6 Valentino White Tile), under cabinet lighting, stainless steel farm sink, and DCS stainless steel appliances including 48" gas range, double drawer dishwasher and double door refrigerator. Great room interior of a new construction single-level home. The signature butterfly shed roofline is fully expressed inside as a series of black-framed clerestory windows running the full width of the great room, admitting a continuous band of natural light and redwood canopy views above the interior wall line while maintaining privacy at eye level. Warm walnut flat-front cabinetry runs the full perimeter of the kitchen at left, with slate blue upper cabinets visible beyond and a full-height walnut appliance tower with integrated stainless steel refrigerator and double oven anchoring the center. A blue kitchen island with white quartz countertop extends into a cantilevered walnut butcher block dining table with a distinctive slatted walnut fluted base. Black molded shell chairs with oak legs surround the dining extension. Single white globe pendant hangs above. The terracotta red front entry door with cedar-clad entry volume is visible through the interior opening at center, connecting the street threshold to the deepest interior space in one axial view.
