The corbels are part of the hood. The hood is from Francois and Company.

It is a deep wall. ICF construction. You will need to get more info from your contractor.

This wood is a rustic cherry. It has a custom stain on it though with a slight black glaze. Interestingly, we found a bullet lodged in the wood when constructing the cabinets! Very rustic indeed!

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Jamie Gold, CKD, CAPS, MCCWC added this to New Year's Resolutions for Your Kitchen, Part II
Kitchen Planning Resolution No. 1: Provide good ventilationYou may not want to see your kitchen's vent hood. You may not want to hear it either. However, be sure you have the right strength for your cooking equipment and vent outside if at all possible.Poor ventilation subjects your home, furniture, family and even pets to excess grease, odors, steam and other unpleasant cooking byproducts.

What Houzzers are commenting on:

Shape of vent cover, if scaled to my project
mlzp added this to FROUSAKIS, VICKY & GUS
The white part of this hood is perfect. Taller to fit hood.

Interesting with the cove in the back
katiesmomma added this to backhall ideabook
No corbels. Cabinet door look on top. Less molding. Like the curved front. Of needed, two small "drawer" looks on each side of curved front.
