We were tasked with renovating a crumbling detached garage w/ addition into a Tiny House/Mother-in-Law Suite. We removed most of the old framing except for the roof and completely rebuilt the structure. We added a kitchenette/laundry room with plenty of custom and salvaged touches. Also, a roomy bathroom in the style of the 1929 main house and a bedroom/living area. The project resulted in a fully functional 380 SF Mother-in-Law Suite with custom detailing that feels original to the historic home it is a part of.
