1970s Residence Remodel
The challenge was to update a one-story Chesterfield, MO residence originally built in 1972. This existing residence was dark and cramped with eight foot ceilings and small chopped up rooms. The solution was to remove most of the interior walls and to vault the existing ceiling in the Living Room and Dining Room. The Kitchen was remodeled and expanded into the existing Breakfast Room and opened up to the Dining Room and Family Room. The existing see-through fireplace was clad with stone veneer and became the focal point of the opened up space. General Contractor: Terra Nova Construction
