2013
The stairs are Walnut with paint grade skirts and fascia. Most of the paint grade material is Poplar except for MDF for the sheet goods. In the main entryway is the sweeping staircase. All the wainscot has a panel mould instead of a panel cap. This looks a lot cleaner and less colonial. I prefer it. The railing was done by an artisan metal worker. He did amazing work on this stair.
The other stairs in the photos are the stairs going into the basement under the main stair and the back stair. All are Walnut treads and risers. The back staircase also has Walnut skirts and wainscot on the walls.
The layered boxed beam ceiling is made of Cherry. The other boxed beam ceiling is Alder.
All pictures are from the same house.
