This intermediate terrace house underwent reconstruction to provide intimate, customised spaces for a couple, including individual study rooms. A central courtyard was expanded to accommodate an open steel staircase to allow natural light to permeate all rooms and also encourage cross ventilation. A 2 storey high vertical green wall in the central courtyard allows greenery to be brought closer to users to compensate for the dense built up environment of the typical intermediate terrace house typology.
