An aesthetic and functional kitchen update that stays true to the character of the 1938 home, but also has all the amenities that time and progress supply.

The project gutted the existing kitchen leaving only the oak, hardwood floor. Appliances were moved, doorways were closed-in or modified, a pass-thu was created, counter space was enlarged, and lighting was improved.

The custom full-height tile backsplash with a mixture of porcelain, ceramic, and glass adds color and charm to the space.

In the end, the final product gave the client the "glow" she was looking for.
