A large scale project that made a backyard with little function or sense something that drew you to it. This patio, landscape and water feature project first started with some serious land sculpting. Once we had the timber retaining wall installed we went to work building this large open patio space for hosting guests. The fire pit and seating wall made for the perfect gathering spot. Once the patio space was installed a large scale landscape was put in to compliment and enhance the paver patio. We used lots of perennials to give it a summer time blooming bonanza. Evergreens were then placed throughout to give year round color as well as natural screening. The spruce on top of the water feature is packed with character and gives the space a very unique appearance! Last, but certainly not least, the water feature brought in the soothing sounds, smells and overall relaxing feeling nature can offer. We installed the rock work to resemble nature as closely as possible and even had a few of the stones "spill out" and become a part of the patio. When all of this came together a truly warm and inviting space was created. A truly fun project to design and install!
