this was a low-budget renovation of a 1954 brick midcentury house. the exterior is mostly untouched except for a new sliding window at the kitchen and new kitchen door. kitchen cabinetry is designed to be efficient for storage yet still breathable to the dining and outdoors. the horizontal lines of the upper cabinetry complement the clerestory window lines. bright blue porcelain floors offset custom cherry wood and white cabinets.
