This 578 sf addition is designed for the owner's mother, who is relocating from the midwest to live with family in Austin. We selected feminine finishes for the new bedroom suite and designed an accessible bathroom. A kitchen refresh was part of the project, which included updated IKEA cabinets, new countertops, custom floating shelves and Fireclay tile. The mudroom has a bold patterned tile floor and serves to connect the mother's suite addition to the kitchen and main living areas of the house.
