This grand corner lot in the Zilker neighborhood provided two significant assets as a starting point for design: a large heritage live oak and existing 1940 stone cottage. The design of the new main house links to the old cottage and forms an L-shaped courtyard for a new pool, with the deep shade from a covered porch facing west. This project was built as a speculative home by contractor Craig Parker Homes. The new owner of the property engaged the services of Lauren Ramirez of HouseMill Design to complete the interior design concept and furnishings.
