Alpine Court

Hasler Homes hired Karly Kristina Design to design an entertainment bar and clean lined fireplace for a custom new build they were building to sell. The bar area was the help fill an empty void the open concept floor plan had generated but to also be functional for the home owner while entertaining guests. The finishes used complimented the already designed kitchen but also allowed the bar area to be its own statement.

This fireplace was designed to be very contemporary with clean lines. The dark grey accent tile helps bring the focal point to the fireplace, highlighting this as the main feature.

Creating a bar area off of the kitchen gives this contemporary space visual interest while adding an expansion to the kitchen. It is the perfect place to have guests sit while entertaining for them to be apart of your presence but not sitting in the mess of the dinner preparation.

The waterfall counter is the main feature for this bar area. With it being highlighted in strip lighting below, it creates an ambiance while accenting this beautiful bar feature off of the kitchen.

The bar sits in-between the kitchen and dining room to easily transition into the dining room for a more formal setting. The bar pulls finishes from the kitchen but is done slightly different giving the bar its own identity.
