After a lifetime in San Francisco, a painter-and-professor couple moved east to Chapel Hill, NC. They settled on a house set on a leafy lot with plenty of natural light and the opportunity to create space for entertaining faculty and new friends alike. They brought with them an important art collection assembled over the years...and also differing tastes in decor. This designer's task was to merge, integrate, and create. And now, all is well in the woods.
