This is a wonderful example of what can be done to give new life to a beautiful antique home.
The original home exterior was preserved and/or restored as part of this complete renovation project. The interior floor plan was partially reconfigured to improve flow, and the home received a much welcomed energy-efficient envelope upgrade including soy-based closed cell spray insulation throughout and all new custom-built insulated windows. All electrical and plumbing systems were replaced, and a new high efficiency heating and cooling system was added. The home now operates comfortably and completely without the use of fossil fuels.

Great care was taken to preserve both the original interior and exterior detailing, and those original details were also carried through to the new Master Suite and Guest Suite addition. The newly constructed Carriage House/Studio perfectly compliments the architecture of the main house while simultaneously expressing a charm and character of its own.
