Arlington Heights New Bathroom
Regency got a blast from the past with this retro 1970s blue bathroom. After years of designing bathrooms our team knew not all blue was bad! We selected a modern blue aesthetic to bring this bathroom into a new era using only the best materials in the business.
Our team completely gutted the bathroom preserving only the existing layout. We installed 12×12 ceramic tiles from the Sandalo Collection in Castillian Gray from daltile. The Sandalo Collection mimics the look of natural stone but has the low maintenance ease of ceramic tile. We used the same tiles half way up the shower and added an accent border and elongated beige ceramic tile to complete this space. We installed a maple vanity cabinet from J&k Cabinetry with matching medicine cabinet. We added an off white porcelain vanity top and hardware in brushed nickel. We painted the walls a grey blue color, a similar paint can be found in The Sherwin Williams Collection in Smoky Blue. The end result is a beautiful and sophisticated bathroom.
Now that’s how you do blue in 2014!
