This large kitchen was designed to accommodate the client's kosher cooking style. It features two sinks, two ovens and two dishwasher drawers, built-in refrigerator, small microwave, cooktop and hood. The oven in the corner was raised for easier access, the second oven is built in into the multi-tiered island. The countertops are black granite with butcher-block accents. The island is packed with functionality. The different heights not only add interest but have specific roles: the tallest area acts as a backsplash to the sink and gives room for electrical outlets; the lowest area is at a comfortable height for baking. The black glass mosaic backsplash ties it all together.
